The topographical features of Bhadravaṛṣa are given in greater detail in the Vāyu Purāṇa than in others, although they are not presented in one place. References to the rivers, mountains, valleys and plains occur in various chapters and under different headings in that Purāṇa and one has to put this scattered information together to get a complete picture of Bhadravaṛṣa and adjoining regions.
