There is a plain which is seventy thousand Yojanas long and hundred¹² Yojanas in breadth lies between Venumān (or Renumān) and Sumedha mountains. In this plain there are no trees, creepers and gardens and no creatures live there. Only green meadows occur here and there.¹³
