Kausāmbi. 2. Kosambinagara. 3. Batsyapattana, about 30 miles to the west of Allahabad; it was the capital of 1. Batsya-deśa. 2. Baṃśa, the kingdom of Rājā Udayana. Harsha Deva places his scene of the Ratnāvalī at this place.
