Bhainsrorgarh.—At Barolli, about three miles north-east of Bhainsrorgarh in the Udaipur State in Rajputana, there is a group of beautiful Hindu temples. The chief temple, dedicated to Ghaṭeśvara, stands in a walled enclosure. There is a figure of Viṣṇu reposing on the Śeṣaśayyā or the bed of the serpent, which Fergusson considers as the most beautiful piece of purely Hindu sculpture.
