Udayapura.—It is in the State of Gwalior. A stone inscription has been found in Udayāditya’s Śiva temple built here (*I.A.*, XVIII, 344ff.). The great Nīlakaṇṭheśvara temple was built at Udayapura by Udayāditya (*J.A.S.B.*, IX, 548).
