Goṇṭūru.—It is the name of a village (S.I.I., Vol. I, 38). It is doubtful to identify Goṇṭūra with the modern town of Guṇṭur in the Kistna district. This village is bounded on the east by Goṅguva, on the south by Goṇayūru, on the west by Kaluceruvulu and on the north by Maḍapalli (Ibid., I, p. 43).
