*Jambukeśvara.*—It is Śrīraṅgam according to some (cf. *Devipurāṇa* Ch. 102). It is two miles away to the north of Trichinopoly. It contains a temple having the water-liṅga. The deity is so called because it remains in water. Śiva stands in the middle with Brahmā and Viṣṇu to the right and left respectively.
