Karkuḍi.—This is the ancient name of Uyyakkoṇḍan Tirumalai in the Nandipanmamaṅgalam on the southern bank of the Kāverī (S.I.I., III, p. 231). It is in Rājāśrayacaturvedimaṅgalam in Pāṇḍikulasamvaḷanāḍu (vide Raṅgāchāri’s List, 1952).
