Malaikkurram.—This is a district which may be identified with the Malakūṭa (Mo-lo-Kū-t’a) (Watters, On Yuan Chwang, II, pp. 228ff.), of Hiuen Tsang which he located in the delta of the Kāverī (S.I.I., III, p. 197).
