*Malkhed*.—The Salotgi Inscription of Kṛṣṇa III describes this imperial capital of the Rāṣṭrakūṭas as ‘Sthiribhūta-Kaṭake’, i.e., the place where the military forces were located (*E.I.*, IV, 66; XIII, 176ff.).
