*Mutgi*.—It is a village in the Bāgewāḍi taluk of the Bijapur district. It is situated some 6½ miles to the south-west of the Bāgewāḍi town. Its ancient name is Muritage, where two inscriptions were found (*E.I.*, XV, 25ff.).
