*Nāndikaḍa.*—It is mentioned in the Basim plates of Vākāṭaka Vindhyaśakti II (*E.I.*, XXVI, Pt. III, July, 1941). It may be identified with Nanded, the chief town of a district of the same name in the Nizam’s dominions.
