*Bavāji Hill*—It is situated near Velapāḍi, a suburb of Vellore in the North Arcot district (*S.I.I.*, Vol. I, p. 76). A rock inscription of Kannaradeva has been found below the summit of this hill (*E.I.*, IV, 81ff.).
