Sudarśana.—It is a lake situated at some distance from Girinagara (Girnar, Jain Girinār in south Kāthiāwāḍ). The lake originally constructed by the Vaiśya Puṣyagupta, a rāṣṭriya of the Maurya king Candragupta, and subsequently adorned with conduits by the Yavana king Tusāṣpha, was destroyed during a storm by the waters of the Suvarṇasikatā (Luders’ List, No. 965).
