v1.c7.s10.t7.12
“Samadhi” refers to a sublime state of higher consciousness all yogis strive to achieve, which is further broken down into various levels or categories in the *Yoga-sutras*, including: *Savikalpa Samadhi*; *Nirvikalpa Samadhi*; *Seeded Samāpatti*; *Seedless Samāpatti*; and *Dharma-megha*. It is worth nothing, however, that these “samadhis”, in their respective order, don’t represent a progressive process, but rather, overlap or coincide to varying degrees.
