Within the capital in its north-east corner was an Asoka tope on the site of the house of Chun-t'ê (Chunda), and on the premises was a well dug at the time when [Chunda] was making preparations for the entertainment [of the Buddha and his disciples] the water of which had remained clear and fresh.
