To represent the restorations systematically, we should write not only giráam súria tuám, but also daiṣṇá índra and dhámnā. But such forms as dayiṣṇá, índara, dhámanā probably represent with fair accuracy the pronunciation required, and in these rarer cases it seems better to follow Indian methods of spelling.
