v1.c31.22
6. VĀCASPATI MIŚRA. Nothing is known of him or his commentary, but he is cited by Caṇḍidāsa (as *prācīna* fol. 7a), by Viśvanātha on Mammaṭa, and by Bhīmasena. He is probably to be distinguished from Vācaspati Miśra, author of the *Bhāmatī*, who is probably older than Mammaṭa; for in the list he gives of his own works at the end of the *Bhāmatī*, he does not refer to any commentary on Mammaṭa. Our Vācaspati is probably the Maithilī legist who wrote *Ācāra-cintāmaṇi* and other works (see Aufrecht i 559-60).
