In the last verse of the *Rasa mañjarī*, Bhānudatta's native country is given as Videha (*videhabhūḥ*)² or *praṇaya-māna*. It is not clear whether the reference is to Bhānudatta, for the dictum cannot be traced in his *Rasa-mañjarī*.
