²⁴ This verse is also cited by Bhoja (ch. v, p. 355) : but it is possibly an indication of the uncritical nature of his work that he should remark : *tatra kāvya-śobhākarān ityanena śleṣopamādivad guṇa-rasa-bhāva-tadābhāsa-prasādādin apyupagṛhṇāti*, apparently as a commentary on Daṇḍin's view !
