³⁵ Bhānudatta counts (*Rasa-taraṅgiṇī*) *māyā* under the *rasas*. Rudraṭa mentioned *preyas* (friendship), which *rasa* is accepted by Bhoja. Some writers add *śraddhā*, along with *bhakti*. See Bhānudatta, *op. cit.* p. 56, ll. 25f (ed. Regnaud). Śiṅgabhūpāla admits only eight *rasas*, but his treatment is from the standpoint of dramaturgy.
