P. 316. Veṅkaṭācārya. The author describes himself as the disciple of his uncle Śrīnivāsācārya, and says that he flourished in the court of Veṅkaṭa-nāyaka, son of Bahiri Pāmi. Our Veṅkaṭa may be the same as Bucci Veṅkaṭācārya, author of *Vedānta-kārikāvalī*, and his uncle and preceptor Śrīnivāsa was probably the author of *Jijñāsā-darpaṇa*.
