**231. Padmasundara** was the pupil of Padmameru of the Tāpagaccha.⁴ He was successful in a literary contest at the Court of Akbar and was honoured with gifts of villages, etc.⁵ He wrote his Rāyamallābhyudaya in Sam. 1615, (1559 A.D.) describing the lives of 24 Tīrthaṅkaras ending with Royamalla of the Agritaka,⁶ class. Same year later he wrote his Pārśvanātha Kāvya.⁷
