¹ If this refers to the Sankarshaṇakâṇḍa, which is ascribed to Jaimini, and forms an appendix to the Karmamîmânsâ-sûtras (cf. Prasthânabheda), we ought to read Pûrva-mîmânsâ instead of Uttara-mîmânsâ.
