The words in the original are—यद्वा मृगशिरः पूर्णमासबंधेन वर्षादिरभिहितस्तस्मिन्नैवाग्रहायणीत्याभिधानात् । आम्रायणं यस्यां साग्रहायणी । अत एवाग्रहायणिक इति मार्गशीर्षनाम । अतोऽस्य मासस्य मुख्यत्वाद्विभूतित्वम् । If Anandagiri's explanation be correct then the Gîtâ is not opposed to deriving Agrahâyaṇî from Agrahâyaṇa, the name of a Nakshatra, and the whole of the above discussion would be unnecessary.
