⁶⁰⁶ दक्षिणतः कपुञ्जा वसिष्ठानाम् । उभयतोऽत्रिकाश्यपानाम् । मुण्डा भृगवः । पञ्चचूडा अङ्गिरसः । वाजि (राजि ?) मेके । मङ्गलार्थं शिखिनोऽन्ये । यथाकुलधर्मं वा । काठकगृह्य 40. 2-8. These sūtras are quoted by अपरार्क p. 29 and by the स्मृतिच० I. p. 23. The स्मृतिच० in explaining the words मङ्गलार्थं says that some keep a śikhā of the form and size of the leaf of the Vaṭa tree. The सं. प्र. p. 316 arranges the sūtras differently and remarks मङ्गलार्थे, वार्जि केशपङ्क्तिं कुर्वन्ति । सा च समन्तात् ललाटकर्णमूलस्पार्शिनी मालेव भवति । ... ... द्राविडेषु केचन पश्चाच्चूड़ाः केचन पुरश्चूड़ाः ।
