⁶⁹⁷ यमोपि। पुराकल्पे कुमारीणां मौञ्जीबन्धनमिष्यते । अध्यापनं च वेदानां सावित्रीवाचनं तथा ॥ पिता पितृव्यो भ्राता वा नैनामध्यापयेत्परः । स्वगृहे चैव कन्याया भैक्षचर्या विधीयते ॥ वर्जयेदजिनं चीरं जटाधारणमेव च ॥ संस्कारप्रकाश pp. 402-403; these verses are ascribed to Manu in the स्मृतिचन्द्रिका (I. p. 24) edited by Mr. Gharpure, but this seems to be a misreading for यम (which is the reading of the Mysore ed.)
