¹⁶⁷⁸ According to the Tai. Br. II. 7. 5 'मनुष्या वै नराशंसः'; vide शांखायनश्रौत 16. 11 where many lists of नाराशंस hymns occur, Ṛg. I. 125 being one hymn of that kind. अथर्व XX. 127. 1 has the word नराशंस and ऋ V. 18. 5. is नाराशंसी.
