²³⁴⁴ The com. on Sat. I. 7. p. 161 significantly remarks that the mantras to be repeated by the wife should be learnt by her from her father or husband before *agnyādhāna* 'एते मन्त्रा आधानारपूर्व पितुः पत्युर्वा सकाशादधीत्य प्रयोक्त्याः'.
