²⁶³² ‘उद्ववसायैज्यते इत्युद्ववसानौया’ com. on Āp. XIII. 25. 3; ‘उद्ववसानार्था इष्टिरुद्ववसानौया’ com. on Sat. IX. 6. p. 956. उद्ववसान is the counter-part of अध्यवसान. When at the beginning the sacrificer enters upon the holy ground sought from the king it is अध्यवसान. Vide ‘एद्बमन्म देवयजनं पृथिव्या इति देवयजनमध्यवस्यति’ आप. X. 3. 3 (com. अध्यवस्यति सहाग्निभिर्भार्यार्थममुप्रयायावस्थेहित्यर्थः).
