v4.c63.431
⁵⁹⁵ Dr. Jolly (S. B. E. vol. 33 p. 35) is not right when he translates Nār. II. 42 as 'whenever the false assertions have been removed the judges shall pass a decree'. He has not also correctly rendered the com. of Asahāya. There is no word for 'assertions' in Nār. II. 42 'पक्षानुत्सार्य तु सभ्यै कार्यो विनिश्चयः सदा ' on which the comment of Asahāya is: यदा निर्णयकालो भवति लग्नस्तदा वादिप्रतिवादिनोः पक्षैः सर्वैस्तत्क्षणसम्बध्यमानकैः सह द्वावप्युत्सार्य सभ्यै-निर्णयः कार्यः ।
