⁷⁴² लेखं दद्याद्विशुद्धर्णं तदभावे प्रतिश्रयम्। धनिकर्णिकयोरेवं विशुद्धिः स्यात्परस्परम्॥ नारद IV. 116. असहाय explains 'प्रतिश्रयं विशुद्धिपत्रम्', while the स्मृतिच. II. p. 162 and व्य. प्र. p. 277 read प्रतिश्रवम् and explain 'प्रतिदानं कृतमिति साक्षिभिः श्रावणम्'.
