¹⁷³⁵ कृताय सभाचिनं त्रेताया आदिनवदर्शं द्वापराय बहिःसदं कलये सभास्थाणुम् । तै. ब्रा. III. 4. 16. For आदिनव vide अथर्व VII. 114. 4 'आदिनवं प्रतिदीव्ने घृतेनास्माँ अभिक्षर'. सायण explains 'आदिनवदर्शी मर्यादायां देवनस्य भ्रष्टारं परीक्षकम् '. The meanings of these technical expressions in gambling are extremely uncertain.
