बलाधिकृत—Commander of an army. The word occurs in the Kādambarī (para 74) of Bāṇa (where Balāhaka is so called) and in the Rāṣṭrakūṭa (Gujarat branch) grant of Śake 679 (J. B. B. R. A. S. vol. 16 p. 105 at p. 108 where 'balādhikṛta' follows 'senāpati').
