रूपदर्शक---Examiner of coins. The word occurs in Kauṭ. II. 5, for which see note 184a. In E. I. XXII p. 30 there is a statement that in the Jogīmāra inscription rūpadakha (rūpadarśa or rūpadakṣa?) occurs. Prof. D. R. Bhandarkar takes it to mean ‘banker’.
