839a 839 a. This position is stated by the परा मा. I part 1 p. 176: 'यदा कृत्स्नाङ्गाष्ठानशक्तिस्तदैव काम्यमनुष्ठेयम्'. The विष्णुपुराण (III. 14. 4-8) sets out the times for काम्यश्राद्धs. The two propositions of जैमिनि are often spoken of as यथाशक्तिन्याय and सर्वाङ्गोपसंहारन्याय.
