¹⁵⁰⁵ This tīrtha was so called because Ādi-Gadādhara washed his mace in the water there after smashing the head of demon Heti with it हेत्यसुरस्य यच्छीर्षं गदया तद् द्विधा कृतम्। ततः प्रक्षालिता यस्मात्तीर्थं तच्च विश्रुतये। गदालोलेमिति ख्यातं सर्वपापोत्तमोत्तमम्। वायु 111.75 गदालोल is in the stream of the river Phalgu.
