¹⁵⁵⁷ सरस्वत्युत्तरे तीरे यस्त्यजेदात्मनस्तनुम् । पृथूदके जप्यपरो नैनं श्वो मरणं तपेत् । शल्यपर्व 39 33–34. वामनपुराण 39. 19 has the same verse (last pāda is read as नैतस्य मरणं भवेत्).
