Bhāskarakṣetra—(Konārka) Mit on Yāj. III 17 quotes a verse 'Gaṅgāyām Bhāskarakṣetre &c' (q. on p. 574 above). T. C. p 16 and Prāyaścittatattva (p 493) say that Prayāga is Bhāskarakṣetra, while T. S. p 20 says it is Konāditya or Konārka. This is the correct view M 111. 13 and K I 36. 20 say 'Prayāga is Prajāpatikṣetra' Vide p. 574 above. Dey p 32 simply follows Prāyaścittatattva
