²⁵⁷ दिनार्धसमयेऽतीते भुज्यते नियमेन यत्। एकभक्तमिति प्रोक्तमतस्तत्स्याद्विवैव हि॥ स्कन्द q by हे (on काल) p 108, निर्णयसिन्धु p 14, पृ त p 92, पु चि p 43. देवल has the same verse except that the last quarter is ऊन ग्रासत्रयेण तु The word नियमेन refers to the observance of celibacy and the like Acc to a well known verse अष्टौ ग्रासा मुने द्वात्रिंशत्तु गृहस्थस्यापरिमितं ब्रह्मचारिण ॥ (q by आप ध सू II 4 9-13), the person observing एकभक्त should not eat more than 32 or 28 morsels even if he is a householder अत पूर्वोक्तवचनपर्यालोचनया दिनार्धादुपरीतनौ मध्याह्नो मुख्य कालः, तदूर्ध्वमस्तमनादधोगौण 'दिनार्धसमयेऽतीते' इति वचनात्, दिवैवेत्यभिधानाच्च । हे.
