v6.c82.862
¹¹³⁰ It may be noted that under the Indian Limitation Act (Act I of 1908) section 25, all instruments shall, for the purpposes of the Limitation Act, be deemed to be made with reference to the Gregorian Calendar. This rule is absolute and therefore even if a bond is made on a tithi of a lunar month in a certain śaka year and is made payable four months after the śaka date, the period of limitation applicable to a suit brought on the bond runs from the expiration of four months after the date computed according to the Gregorian Calendar.
