⁷⁰⁶ रविशशिनोः पञ्च युगं वर्षाणि पितामहोपदिष्टानि। अधिमासस्त्रिंशद्भिर्मासैरवमो द्विपष्ट्या तु ॥ पञ्चसि XII. I Acc. to वराह, the पैतामहसिद्धान्त employed Śake 2 (80 A D.) as its epoch i. e a new yuga began with Śaka year 2 (elapsed) It is therefore probable that it was composed about 80 A D
