The Devībhāgavata provides (XI. 1. 25) that so much of tantra as is not opposed to the Veda is undoubtedly authoritative (vedāvirodhi cet tantram tat pramāṇaṁ na saṁśayaḥ), but what is opposed to Veda is not authoritative.
