²⁰⁹⁶ सन्दिग्धेषु वाक्यशेषात् । पू. मी सू. I. 4 24. The विषयवाक्य is 'अक्ताः शर्करा उपदधाति तेजो वै घृतम्' (तै. ब्रा III. 2. 5 12). Compare Maxwell p. 29 'the words of each clause should be so interpreted as to bring them in harmony with other provisions.'
