The Suśrutasaṁhitā also (in Śārīrasthāna, chap. I paragraphs 3, 4-6, 8-9) sets out the Sāṅkhya,²²⁶¹ is much closer to the standard system of the Kārikā than either the Buddhacarita or the Carakasaṁhitā as the quotations in the notes will show.
