Soothsayers and court-bards should describe heaven as the destination of the brave and hell for the timid. They should also extol the caste, corporation, family, deeds and character of the soldiers (*sūtamāgadhāḥ śūrāṇāṁ svargamasvargaṁ bhīrūṇāṁ jātiṣaṁghakulakarmavṛittastavaṁ cha yodhānām varṇayeyuḥ*).
