Superintendent of Metals (*Lohādhyaksha*). He was entrusted with the work of manufacturing vessels (*karmāntān tadbhāṇḍa-ghaṭana-karmāṇi*) of such materials as Copper, Lead, Tin, Brass, Bell-metal and the like, and of business (*vyavahāra*) in such manufactures.
