Failure on the part of a *Kāraṇika* to enter revenue realized (*Rājārthe apratibadhnataḥ rājārthaṁ pustakeshu alikhitaḥ*), or to follow instructions (*ājñāṁ pratishedhayato*), or to write accounts of income and expenditure according to prescribed forms (*nibandha*) is punishable.
