The astronomical (mathematical) works of Brahmagupta, namely, the *Brahmasiddhānta* (called *Sindhind* in Arabic) and the *Khaṇḍa-khādyaka* (*Arkand*) were translated into Arabic by Alfazari and Yakub Ibn Tarik during the reign of Mansur (753-774).
