*Tapa* (IX)—(also Tapoloka) a celestial world,¹ forming the forehead of Virātpurusa, the sixth loka, the residence of Ṛbhu, Sanatkumāra and others, originators of Manvantaras, each of them resides conjointly with yoga, tapa and satya, four crores of yojanas above Janaloka, the residence of the celestial Vairājas, above it, the Satyaloka or Brahmaloka²
